Funny you should say that... I did consider a G&L-esque pointy bit for a while, but I figured it would have been a bit of a woodworking nightmare waiting to happen

Wow. That is quite breathtaking. But not in a good way. :o

Always loved the 90's Washburn headstocks, just pointy enough but with a nod to the classics too. I still have the 5 string version of this.

Had an MB-4, lovely to play, but didn't sound that great.

The MB 5 I have has a very scooped active jazz type sound, it's the natural finish one, for the 90's power metal band I was in it was just the ticket, but if you didn't want that sound then it couldn't really do anything else to be fair

They are all quite nice shapes Rich , but my vote would be the peavey one 👍

Yep Peavey. The others look a bit too pointy metal style.

I love the look of these Seldon basses, particularly the ones with Thunderbird pickups. But, that headstock... 🙄

How about something more tasteful and minimalist?

That's all fine and dandy until somebody loses an eye.

That won't happen as long as the guitarist doesn't go on too long with his solo.
