SH73
It seem to appear that some rockstars are desperate to top up their pension. That bass is revolting!

naxos10
Not sure many 'beginners' are going rush out and buy one at £895. Edited December 22, 2021 by naxos10 Spelling
Bassfinger
I hear that this bass comes with a special tuner that has Anita Dobson singing the Eastenders theme tune when you switch it on.

leschirons
I've decided to wait for the Brian May 4 pack of artisan Scotch eggs to come out.

Grimalkin
I can't wait to get the EB Joe Dart coffee pot and coaster set. It features Joe's jocular gait on each piece, holding a thumb aloft with an emanating word bubble exclaiming "Only me!"
Newfoundfreedom
I like it! I don't like the price tag though. I wouldn't pay £900 for it. If it was priced at around £300 it might be tempting. To be fair, I'm fine with most basses that aren't generic, bland Fender shaped.
Nail Soup
I quite like it, looks-wise. I think the design looks better as a bass than a guitar actually🤯 .

TrevorR
I won’t be queuing to with tenners clenched in my hand to buy one but at least it’s based around a guitar he owns and designed around a shape which is unique to him. The one that got me was when Martin issued the George Martin signature acoustic guitar… yes THAT George Martin the famous finger picker from The Beatles… hmmm… 1
Bassfinger
At least its exactly how Brian May imagined it in his one vision.

Scale length is quite interesting though. I'd have thought that with a mahogany body it would probably balance pretty well. Maude
I quite like the look of it, can't really see what the negativity is about. It has a Ripper/Grabber vibe about it which I think is cool. Price is a bit steep but only time will tell if it's priced wrong. I'm do agree though that bass playing Queen fans will surely go for a looky-likey P bass, or Stingray. AndyTravis
I think it’s a nice eb3/SG Bass alternative. My daughter is Brian May mad…and plays a bit of bass. at £900 or £600 used - it’s just a bit of a stretch for her to mess about on…currently
Cato
Having never played any gibson style EB type basses I'm quite intrigued by the pickups on the BM sig. At least they didn't just plonk a couple of J pickups or a split P in that body shape. Edited December 25, 2021 by Cato

Grimalkin
Come on, no one is under pressure to buy it. I certainly can't, I'm living on Seven seas and rye here.
