troubadour Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Think I'd be up sh*t creek with that rather than without it! Quote
vinorange Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 I’m so oar inspired that I’ve decided to copy his work and make a bass from this excellent piece of timber... 2 2 Quote
alyctes Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 To be fair to him, the Mazeti headstock does look like that. AFAICT he's only changed the electrics. 1 Quote

Newfoundfreedom Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 He definitely didn't make the headstock. He doesn't have nearly that much talent. I almost bought a bass with that exact headstock a couple of years ago. He has however, done his usual trick of setting the tuners at jaunty angles and totally ruined the setup. 1 Quote

fleabag Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Shame. Peeps might think Mazeti were as awful as this goon's creations, when in fact, Mazeti's were very decent basses 1 Quote

fleabag Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 There's a 6 er Mazeti on Ebay. Very reasonable price too https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/233788562603?hash=item366ee25cab:g:XdMAAOSweh5et9wO Quote
vinorange Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Really he should stop cocking up basses and try redecorating. The room where the bass is pictured has just turned my stomach slightly.... Quote

No wonder there are "one or two notes where the string wheezes a bit"... I'm almost tempted to arrange to visit him and try one of his creations, just so I can tell him what a piece of sh1te it and his so-called workmanship is. Quote
paul_5 Posted December 29, 2021 Posted December 29, 2021 Jesus! These put me in mind of 'Sid's room' in Toy Story. And not in a good way. Quote
