Mex P-bass mod

Hey

for a while my mex p bass has had the p pup from a Basslines APJ-1 p/j pickup set installed
today i got around to installing the other

so i popped it in. put a side jack on etc, has nice battery compartment on the back that i did last time

the half of the coil for the D and G strings on the J pup doesnt work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

going to email seymour duncan now

That sucks. I hope it works out for you. Seymour Duncan's support is supposed to be good from what I've heard.

thanks. yeah it really does suck. ive emailed them, but no reply so far.

Apart from it not working (grrrrrrr) it looks pretty cool. And I have nice chrome barrel knobs for it now too.

Depends on the fretboard wood IMO...if it was maple like mine then definitely but I love a bit of tort with rosewood. Classic
