At the the risk of making it more confusing Bilbo If you want a 5 string Jazzer I quite like the look of these if you can find one . I know Dood rated them highly in his review.

Try a Sire, I have a V7 I bought a while back to see what they were like. Mine's a little weighty, but as far as a Jazz on steroids, it does it.

That was another on my short-list. I haven’t heard a bad thing about them.
