Fender American Performer Precision Bass - Penny £550 London

Price is ONO - no trades - need to thin the herd.

 

This was my main touring bass for 2 years - it has been gigged heavily and has some wear - some of which is uglier than others.

 

The 'nice' wear is the belt rash on the back - this has worn through the Penny top layer, to the silver underneath, and down to the wood, and looks (in my opinion) great! The urethane finish on these wasn't quite so thick as some of the Fender Poly finishes, so it ages nicely.

 

The 'less nice' wear is on the upper edge above the bridge, where it has a number of dings from being bumped into a Scott Dixon triple bass rack. There's a number of chips here, tried to take some photos of it.

 

Weight is between 8.2 and 8.4lbs on the bathroom scales...

 

Electronics all work great, sounds lovely, has graced many large stages and festivals and I'll be sad to see her go, just doesn't get played any more.

 

Prefer London meetup but can courier to UK mainland address.
