BillyBass
I've had a lot of Gas for fuzz and drive pedals over the Christmas period and have been looking over websites by small overseas manufacturers, like Fuzzrocious, Jam Pedals, Iron Ether and Becos. Trouble is, ordering them can be less than straightforward; Becos won't deliver to the UK and now their U.S. distributor won't either, Fuzzrocious have a overseas $50 postage charge...and then add on the VAT when it arrives. @stewblack started a thread about an OD pedal from a brand I had never heard of: Raygun FX from Southend. This got me thinking, how many other small 'boutique' UK based pedal companies are there out there? I have a 'Subspace' by Hamstead, an Origin Effects 'Cali76' and a 'Micro-Thumpinator' by Sfxsound; so that is three I know. Any others? stewblack
I had a pedal made for me by Bad Penny FX . They're down in the south coast, out east...
SumOne
I've had good pedals from: Bright Onion for switching sort of stuff https://www.brightonion.co.uk/ Sine Effects for EQ https://sineeffect.com/ And if you're after imported boutique things like Fuzzrocious then Joe's Pedals is a good shop https://joespedals.com/collections/pedals 2
SumOne
I haven't tried any of their pedals but Stone Deaf FX look good https://www.stonedeaffx.com/product-category/pedals/. .....The PDF2 is on my shopping list. Also Thorpy FX https://thorpyfx.com/collections/thorpyfx-pedals Edited December 31, 2021 by SumOne
Bassmidget209
There's a company in Scotland called Gojira effects. They do a bunch of stuff, it seems to be made to order though. Several different fuzzes etc. What's really cool is that you can have your own design screen printed onto the pedal, don't think I've seen anyone else do that.
SumOne
Rainger FX are new to me, I haven't tried any but all of their pedals look excellent (in a mad scientist type of way). https://www.raingerfx.com/product-category/products/

Matt P
Cog effects are UK based, - https://www.cogeffects.co.uk/ I have a dual Knightfall on my pedalboard and it's a great pedal. I'll be following as i quite fancy a new fuzz pedal for my board, it would need to be pretty small though to squeeze it in Matt
Doddy
Fredric effects are UK based, and make some cool pedals including a reissue of the old Bugbrand Bug Crusher.

smb
As someone who dabbles a bit with pedal making, I've been admiring Reeves Electro lately https://www.instagram.com/reeveselectro/

I bet the likes of Jam Pedals and Fuzzrocious sell way more kit. The market for distortion and fuzz pedals is, er, saturated, so if you want to stand out you have to make them attractive. I will admit, the appearance of a pedal is a factor in whether I choose to buy or not.
