Overwater Nickel Roundwound Medium Gauge, seem to work just fine for me... however maybe it's time I tried some of these DR's, they seem to be very popular

Elite Stadiums but I've not really tried many brands.

Loads of people raved about how good the [url="http://www.ekmpowershop2.com/ekmps/shops/roberts/index.asp?function=DISPLAYCAT&catid=10"]Roberts strings[/url] were for the money so I might give them a try.

Used to swear by Ernie Ball Hybrids, but took a punt before Christmas on a three-pack of Hartke nickle plated 45-105's off the 'bay & have never looked back. Various sellers, but there's usually someone flogging them for about £18 inc postage - 6 quid a set? Yes Please.

Swing bass 40 - 90 hybrids, tried em all always come back to swingbass, for the money they feel right, like an old pair of 501's...know what I mean.

Usually use d'addario XL nickels, trying out some Thomastik superalloys but I might switch to flats or something I know to be less ringy/zingy, as the G&L is very aggressive sounding.
