Maybe Everyone In The USA Isn't Dim After All...

The thing that irks me is, yes its great that we hopefully live in a society that objects to racism, sexism etc

A generation that wants to change the status quo and challenge the norm for the betterment of everyone.

No more accepting injustice.

People flock to their keyboards in defence of decency. That's all great.

But if the fascist hordes were really  marching in the streets, and Enoch Powell was clearing his throat , where would these people then be?

Would they be standing shoulder to shoulder manning the defences in a physical sense?

I have my doubts.

Often the way isn't it.

Wonder if the fat ginger kid ever said he was offended.

Yes, often. Not 'offended', just puzzled as to 'why people treated him differently'.

Anyway..... that Nirvana album cover kid, eh? What an opportunist joker.....

(Hope noone takes offence on behalf of opportunist jokers)

I guess you missed the BLM protests then.

Americans are not a race.

Neither are black people, Chinese or American Indians.

There is in fact only one human race.

Racism is a term that stems from back when people wrongfully thought that several different human races actually existed.

That doesn't however mean that racism doesn't exist.

Today the term racism is defined by prejudices and discrimination based on ethnicity/nationality.

And being American is an ethnicity/nationality.

Worrying that so many people here are being ignorant of that fact.

I guess that what can be concluded from this is that British people are dim (as if that had not already been proven by stuff I can not mention without going against the forum code of conduct).

Some British people are dim, statistically that’s a given, as are some Americans.

My point was that implying that all Americans were dumb is prejudiced

I think the OP was just being tongue in cheek using the farcical litigiousness nature of our US friends as an example of stupidity.

I'd be offended on your behalf....

Except......that's what I look like! But I'm not offended..... ;)

Americans, ginger people, fat people.... And now the most cherished demographic of all.

Camp Vikings. Managed to upset them all 🤔😋

Still I've learnt some valuable lessons from this.

Some people can't process simple information. Some people would actually find Blazing Saddles a rascist film? Seems crazy but yer they are out there.

Were you fat and ginger?

Yes, I was. Nowadays I'm just fat and bald.

I was lucky at school, I had enough good genuine friends to make up for the few c***s (one in particular) who seemed determined to ruin my life.

Well I genuinely hope that all people who were bullied are able to not let it affect them in later life.

I only got the occasional comment of Konk Face from our geography teacher.

I don't think so, but it has made me more aware of other people being bullies, I notice verbal bullying on here sometimes
