Might be worth listening if he/Budgie gets a mention on The Rock Show* 8pm tonight on Radio 2; possibly a good chance as Kelly Jones (Stereophonics) is standing-in for Johnnie Walker so there's a Welsh connection. 

 

*I know it's Radio 2 but I think it's a really good programme anyway and I'm not really a rock music fan.

My brother and his partner invited me along to a planned meet up of some Budgie fans in Cardiff.

 

Only one other turned up, but we all had a great chat, and she turned out to be the artist who designed this. Pretty impressive to fill Roger Dean's shoes:
