I think I know what you mean! 😉

The colour is pretty accurate, it’s a pleasant tortoiseshell not too harsh - classic modern(ish) Fender

Gotcha. Yep I want it for my limelight in charcoal frost near black so something that’s not bright red nor dark brown as currently. 
 

it’s a vintage ‘63 so I was hoping for no truss rod access but not a deal breaker. 
 

I’ve a cheap one on the way and will get in touch if that one is too red red 😅
