I absolutely LOVE the run of the strings from the tuners through the wrong end of a BBOT.

 

45-degree angle through a tiny, rough hole ... what could possibly go wrong?

I've been on the receiving end of this problem (Kramer The Duke, I'm still trying to get rid of it). 

Short answer, you can't use rounds with it.  Whether anything else actually works I am not certain.

yeah, I mean he did say in the listing that it just “hangs on my wall as an ornament” - maybe that’s the best place for it!

well that’s no fun, I was genuinely interested to see if something like this would sell. I remember seeing Michael Anthony in Bassist magazine many moons ago with his… it’s certainly not a bass you forget! 
 

to be honest it’s the only reason I remember his name!!
