binky_bass
Hi all, The only effect I use these days are reverb and delay. I have a Line 6 Helix LT and its great, but I'm wondering what is out there in as smaller package as possible that combines reverb and delay? I don't want two pedals, I'm specifically looking for one pedal, as small as possible, that has a very good reverb and delay with the ability to manipulate the decay and mix of both. Anything out there? Ta! Russ.

Also it’s really great fun to use the delay settings to ‘warp’ the sound.

binky_bass
I've pulled the trigger on a Walrus Audio Slarp. Should be delivered today... hopefully it'll be exactly what I'm after, If not, I can return it and then I might take a closer look at the Collider - app control is a cool feature.
binky_bass
And back goes the Slarp! The decal was all out of alignment which is disappointing from Walrus Audio and the 'Rise' function just doesn't track correctly, so back it goes! Might see if I can try the Source Audio Collider... If you weren’t so far away, I’d let you try mine. used one on eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Source-Audio-Collider-Delay-Reverb-Effects-Pedal-/154797845150?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0 Edited January 17, 2022 by Quatschmacher
Newfoundfreedom
Why not just go for a zoom ms-60b. One stomp box sized pedal with multiple effects. Take your pick from the reverbs and delays, and have everything else in the arsenal should you ever need it.

I have a Line 6 Helix LT which is superb, but I'm very specifically after a delay/reverb in one small box that concentrates on delay/reverb only. My experience with multi-effects pedals are that especially with modulation, they are a jack of all trades and master of none. The Collider and the Specular Tempus are the two ill try next, if all else fails I'll stick to my Helix as its fantastic but massive!
binky_bass
Well, by some miracle Bass Direct had a pre-owned Source Audio Collider for £150... the deal is done! Nope... Bass Direct massively let me down... very frustrating. Edited January 18, 2022 by binky_bass
castlemaine22
The Nux Atlantic seems to tick all your boxes if I'm not too late to the party, relatively budget friendly - https://www.nuxefx.com/atlantic.html Seems to get good reviews too!
Quatschmacher
@binky_bass might be worth asking if the seller will ship abroad. https://www.talkbass.com/threads/source-audio-collider-delay-reverb.1546781/

After not having used my Helix in some time, and wanting a 'smaller' delay/reverb option, I'm actually going to stick with the Helix, it does everything and more than the Collider and effectively you can have 16 different delay/reverb combinations running simultaneously if you use the 4 cable method over 8 stomp patches - which is more ambient options than anyone could ever want! Plus of course all the extra gubbins the Helix can do... So even though it's a chunky beast, it's actually an incredibly good bit of kit that I may as well use and not spend the dosh on a Collider!

Cheers, but I was looking for something a few leagues beyond Behringer. I'm not a fan of their stuff at the best of time. The Seymour Duncan Dark Star, the Source Audio Collider or the GFI Specular Tempus would be the ones I'd be leaning towards if I hadn't become re-smitten with my Helix! Fionn
The old Boss RV-3 Reverb/Delay Guitarists are known to love it, and it’s fantastic with bass also … Digital, clean, not muddy at all, holds definition, no loss of low end. Harder to find these days perhaps
