Spcollins
I just picked up an EBS Microbass 3 Pre Amp - I was hoping that, among other things, I could use it ‘standalone’ for practising at my desk, using headphones and an iPhone plugged into the AUX IN socket, but if I don’t have anything connected to the main output socket I get a background hum through my headphones that only goes away if I touch my strings or pickups - like the kind of hum you get when a cable is plugged into an amp with no instrument attached. Am I being naive in my expectations here? Is this normal?! Not a show stopper but a bit of a pain! Thanks, Steve
