I see Andrew Roachford MBE has got another band ( since 2020 ) called Roachford after just being Andrew Roachford for 15 years with no band called Roachford .

There's an acoustic duo called Karen & Mike Fleming in the USA. Mrs Zero and I (also an acoustic duo) could team up with them and be Karen & Karen & Mike & Mike Fleming.

Who put the band together? Who does all the leg work to get gigs, organize rehearsals, and put together the promo packages (posters, demo, bio, set lists)? If it’s the guy whose name is on the band, then your annoyance is… well, your annoyance—and probably not worth vocalizing if you’re in, or, thinking of joining the band.

I'd be ok with it tbh. But whether it was "First name Surname and the backing band" or just a band name, if one member is a massive egotist and considers themselves hugely superior to everyone else I'd be out.
