So, it looks like the "No Rics" notice has disappeared from the for sale stickies (or did I imagine it being there?); however, it is still there in the rules.

The sale stickies have been rationalised as there were so many of them that you had to scroll to get through to the sales!

The sticky in basses for sale still has #8 No Rickenbackers.

 

If I was you I would continue to ban the copies.

Maybe pin something to the top that just says 'Rickenbackers - Please read.' and put the key points there - no copies, adverts for copies will be pulled etc.

I'm now a little confused. Can we sell genuine Rickenbacker's on here now, or not?

I can't find the answer either. Although others on here believe the ban on genuine Rickenbacker product sales/trades has been lifted. Maybe one of them could point us towards the evidence?

You should see 3 posts at the top of the basses for sale forum, regardless of your phone, they cover the rules and advice for sellers etc.

Yes thanks, I had to click on the link at the top of one of those threads. The old no Ricky sticky was front and centre previously.

This is fate - I was playing my Ric at a rehearsal last Wednesday and thinking that my Sadowsky just fitted in with the mix better than the 4003s and I should really think about selling. I don’t do Facebook and really don’t like eBay or Gumtree etc. I have just renewed my marketplace subscription!
