kodiakblair Posted January 28, 2022 Posted January 28, 2022 Wish I hadn't sold my Wal JG custom , think the s/n was in the 30's had the leather scratchplate. Must be worth a few bob now 😕 2 Quote
andyaber Posted February 3, 2022 Author Posted February 3, 2022 I'm guessing that a leather scratchplate model would be one of the earliest / rarest / most valuable. Only ever seen a pic of one. Quote

alyctes Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 I had a Yamaha BBN5. Cheap as chips. played nicely, could have done with a pup upgrade but was quite adequate. I regret selling that, especially given what happened to it. Quote

MacDaddy Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 All of them tbh. But finances and space meant I had to 😟 Quote

hiram.k.hackenbacker Posted February 3, 2022 Posted February 3, 2022 I said goodbye to my Alembic today 🙁. Even as I was handing it over to the very nice UPS man, I had that knot or regret in my stomach. I know it's going to a very good home, but that doesn't make it any easier. Another regret is a Rickenbacker 4001 I had back in the 80's. It had issues that I wasn't knowledgable enough at the time to rectify. I miss the Stingrays I've sold recently, but I'm playing slimmer necked instruments now that my old hands are thanking me for. So all of the above would have been nice to keep, but not much point doing so if they're not being played. 1 Quote
