Max Normal
Someone has taken a cheap n' nasty learner bass (maybe Gear4Music?) and unceremoniously stuck one of those "Overlord of cheddar" bridge and headpieces from ebay on it. There are a few tiny little issues.... There's no zero fret or nut, the headpiece looks wonky and if you look closely from the back, it looks like the headstock has been hacked off with mum's breadknife. To add to the detailing, I particularly like how the bridge has been semi-set into the body and the way the bass rests on the tuners. All for a bargain price of £180.00. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/403163513671?hash=item5dde6b0347:g:Q8YAAOSwnLRhQmRZ Edited January 27, 2022 by Max Normal
Woodinblack
Well, you have to practice hacking a few headstocks off before you get it right!

Bassassin
This is what happens when simple folk witness the genius of MDP and ask themselves - "how hard can it be?" This seller's first novel will be published next week. 2
lemmywinks
Tbf that is a country mile better than anything MDP could produce and the rusty penknife headstock removal could be put right without too much trouble. Those Overlord headless bridge units are supposed to be a bit of a chocolate teapot aren't they? Think someone on here said the metal on them was akin to soft cheese.
Jean-Luc Pickguard
At least there's no danger of it having tuners set at a jaunty angle.

Jean-Luc Pickguard
Or dear it looks like some fool has bought it
lemmywinks
Hohner B2 and Jacks have been selling for £200-£250 recently and Steinberger Sprits for not much more. Someone overpaid big time for this.
