Coloured ball ends ID

I usually take off strings fitted to basses i've sold in the past, putting new strings on ..though not every time

 

But those i take off , if in good nick,  get coiled up and chucked in my accessories draw,  but i never seem to remember to keep the packaging when i buy strings

so any strings removed become ' unkown make ' after a few months.

 

Just out of curiosity , i fished out some decent strings today but i'm wondering what they are.  Hoping the colours are a clue.  There's no silk wraps at the tuner end

So, D'addario.  I think they make them for Fender.  Could be mistaken

They certainly did for a while. Not sure anymore
