farmer61
I use a Shure SLX system, I think it's fantastic, however make sure you get one that can be used legally (license wise) in the UK. There are some really good pinned posts on this topic some where! Edited April 8, 2009 by farmer61

Noisyjon
Depends on what you can spend, as with everything! Money no object the Sennheiser Sk5212 transmitter with a 5000 series receiver. More realistically the Sennheiser G2 or G3 system. I use a cable all the time and don't think I'd bother with a wireless system though. Delberthot
Until I play Wembley I'm using OBBM cables. If I ended up in the big time I would get the Stageclix system. Best part of 500 clams but the ultimate as far as I am concerned. Edited April 8, 2009 by Delberthot
MacDaddy
Wireless all the way. Only use cables (obbm) for rehearsal and studio. Hate using cables live, can't go back I use Audio Technica. But which ever brand you choose make sure you get a UHF and not a VHF.

OldGit
Sennheiser G2 for me on stage for my band where I leap about, deliver jelly babies to the audience, do the band balance bit of the sound check from th dance floor and stroll about a lot. If I ever play gigs with my band using a cable I have to be very careful not to leap about and pull my stack over Other gigs I use a Vox curly but mostly cos it looks great. The Sennheiser is the third wireless system I've had, never had a problem with it. Really full sound and good range. It works inside my rack without the exorbitant rack adapter kit too. It also has legal and illegal frequencies in the box so you can be a pirate if you want to, or if, as in our band, there are occasionally other users of wireless using up the 4 practical legal frequencies.
