Checked the serial number at Ernie Ball tonight and it's come back as Blue Pearl. Not only that, it dates to the 10th Oct 1996! Lovely basses indeed. Never seen a Sterling with a Flea bridge-there can't be that many of them around. If I didn't have two MusicMans (MusicMen?) I'd be all over it like a randy shower curtain. EB bridges went through a few designs until they perfected it in 1992 ish - the improvements meant that the strings wouldn't pop out of the saddles even when being leathered by Flea.
