SteveK
Haven't seen this discussed for at least... a couple of months🤔 Quite interesting, and big credit to Jim Lill for the amount of work he put into this test. The only thing he didn't change were the fingers🤔.
BigRedX
I think this is the 4th time this video has been posted in the last couple of weeks. It'll soon be up there with the Drummer at the wrong gig. BTW whatever happened to the cross-dressing Korean bassist?
Machines
I've watched this, it seems to somehow overlook the fact it is connected to a wood bench by the bridge, and wooden frame at the headstock. What wood are they made from ? Hmmm sounded like alder.

SteveK
Sorry, did a quick search - couldn't see it anywhere. Not sure if I can remove it, but If mods want to remove the thread, that's fine. Maybe someone could point me to the other thread(s) - be interested to see what the general feeling is! Boodang
In an interview with Jonas Hellborg, they asked him about his Warwick signature bass and why it had an acoustic body. He said it had nothing to do with the tone, it's just that an acoustic body was thicker than a solid and he found it more comfortable and ergonomic to play. The tone he reckoned came from the pickup and it's position.

Bassfinger
Its a silly experiment. Everyone knows thatm sound differs from room to room due to differences in tone air.
