82’ Squire JV Jazz Bass (big Fender logo) Price Reduced: £1500 Open to offers. £1700 London

Price Reduction: £1500, Open to offers, no trades please. 
 

I have for sale my Squire JV Jazz Bass. This is one of the very first bass’s that Squire made in Japan back in 82’ with the big Fender logo and the small Squire logo. They were only made like this for a few months before they started using the big Squire logo therefore this is a pretty rare instrument. If you're clued up on the history of the JV lines you'll know this is a special instrument. 

 

The build quality is exceptional and the bass is in mint condition with a lovely grain on the body.

The weight is 4.2kg.

Everything is original.

Currently strung with Tomastik flats.

The only Jazz bass I have kept is my 1983 Squier logo JV which I originally bought in 1986. I’ve had many US Fender Jazz basses and posh custom versions but not one has lived up to the standard set by my faithful JV. If you buy this you will have a Jazz for life and a rare and increasingly valuable investment.

Very true!

I got my 82 JV squire jazz when I was 19 and to date I've never wanted another jazz. I had a custom made one for a while and a USA very briefly, they didn't hold a candle to my JV.

It's a beautiful figuring, unsure of the body wood but believe it to be ash.
