Classic amp this. Built to last and just keeps on going. I still have my V-S Bassamp head which I bought second-hand in 1981 so not really looking to buy another. But I would be interested in the pedal if you were willing to split.

I too lusted after one of these.....only 100 watts but got the job done and, at a good volume if memory serves.

Ah but those are HH watts. The stated output is 80 watts into 8 ohms but a look at the circuit shows that that is a VERY conservative rating. AS HH were supplying the BBC with extremely HiFi amps, I suspect the powers quoted were at extremely low distortion rates  I compared my VS100 to an MB200  and guess what, Tne HH was louder (actually the MB 200 is really 100 watts into 8 ohms).

I had the bigger version of this amp when I was a kid. I used to do feedback solos with the bass pressed up against the grille and everything up on full. It sounded like a 747 taking off! Ahhh what fun
