Has anyone any experience with the Ashdown Pedal of Doom. Looking for some honest advice as I’m tempted to try one but don’t want to spend the asking price if its pants 😎

I went a slightly different route and bought the Head of Doom instead which is an awesome amp 😎

I tried a bass though one of those in PMT a while back and thought it sounded great...congratulations

Watching the YouTube demos has confirmed my belief that Ashdown's official videos make almost all of their pedals sound terrible.

It also sounds nothing like Geezer Butler's tone.

hmm, there has been a history of them being large and following rather than leading. I do like the sound of their Original Pedal and amp so am giving that a try

I do love their amps, so the Original should be great. They've just really struggled with the pedals. The ridiculous size was the killer, I reckon.

The JLo pedal was fantastic though!
