I wanted a small cab to go with my tiny Gallien-Krueger MB200 head.  Of course, I would have liked a Barefaced or a Phil Jones but, funds being what they were, I eventually opted for an Ashdown OR-110.  Some of the usual suspects had this for around £280 or so (e.g. PMT £285) and it's listed on the Ashdown site at £295, but I found it on Musik-Produktiv in Germany at £169, including VAT and customs charges.  It arrived today and it's clearly the same product... or am I missing something?  Any ideas?

Musik-Produktiv have been having an Ashdown clearance for a couple of months I think. My mate got a really good deal on  a Rootmaster head (sold out now) and I was looking at a 300 watt OriginAL head for under £200! Enjoy your new cab - you definitely got a bargain 😃

Thanks. I will! I suppose it's a bit of a sad comment on the world - or perhaps just me! - that instead of just accepting it as good fortune, I was slightly suspicious I'd been sold a pup. It sounds great, anyway!

Ashdowns own site are selling the studio 1x10 speaker stool with a storage box in the top rear too for £169. I presume it's the same cab but with a cushion nailed on top.

Been looking for something suitable for home use whilst we clear out in prep for moving, this is perfect. Thanks for the heads up, just ordered for £126! Incredible. If that includes customs it can’t be bettered.

I remember genz Benz brought out the focus series of budget conscious bass cabs and they were both great sounding, light and ridiculously cheap. Yes occasionally you can get great bargains.

My OR110 arrived on Wednesday, what a cracking little cab! Partnered with my Warwick Gnome I have the ultimate in grab and go rigs. There’s a decent enough punch and volume level for my fortunately sympathetic drummer too.

I’m sure there are better sounding rigs, but I doubt it for this price point and purpose. Really impressed.

Thanks for the heads-up OP, I wouldn’t have found this if it wasn’t for your thread.

Definitely!  I've had a great deal of fun with it already, using my flyrig through the MB200 for experimenting with its range and tone.

Did the price have any additional charges? The website suggests customs fees are included.

I am very interested in getting one to set up a little rig to replace my rumble 40.

Yes, all included. It was £106 for the cab and £20 for shipping and tax. Took a little longer than predicted to arrive and a few days to dispatch (had to chase a little), but still well worth it and great value.
