Barefaced Big Baby  (Generation 1?)  Price DROP £300

 

This is one of earlier Barefaced cabs – same size as the original 15” Compact  but this one has 12” speaker and 6.5” mid-range unit.  The nearest I can find on their websites is this for the Big Baby T which also has an additional tweeter. https://barefacedbass.com/product-range/big-baby.htm

 

Size= 25.5" high x 19.5" wide x 13.5" deep (64cm x 48cm x 34cm).

Weight = prob a tweeter less than 36 lbs

 

Overall the cab is in good nick no major dents or scratches.  Its covered in that bumpy cold scrotum effect paint that Barefaced used on their early cabs – seems to have lasted well.  The handle is not in a good shape – still works but the rubber is coning away.  I think Barefaced sell a replacement. Also got a roqsolid basic cover

 

Sound wise it’s got a lovely smooth and rich bass and strong mids – IMO much nicer than the original compact that I used to have.  It’s a great all round cab.

 

Afraid its pickup only from N Essex – I can drive a bit to meet up if it helps.
