Octavius Posted February 27, 2022 Author Posted February 27, 2022 Only GHS majesty’s strings long enough for the Octave set; 38” it leaves about 1” to wind onto the tuners i put on a Badass. bridge and custom filed the nut and bridge tuners for Double strings. Quote

Not sure where you are in the world, but Newtone strings in the UK will make a custom set for you. Might be worth a look when you next need a new set for the 38” beast! Quote
Octavius Posted March 2, 2022 Author Posted March 2, 2022 When I mentioned that I made it the only 450B, I meant that I made it into an Octave Bass, 8-strings. Kramer Guitars did not produce any 450B basses as an 8 string. Quote
