Guest Lee Van Cleef
ried a B4 in a shop the other week, whilst looking for a first time bass, and absolutely loved noodling around on it. I have no experience of playing bass so i was hardly playing it, but the movement up and down the neck was as easy as pie and it felt incredibly natural in shape for. I just wondered if anyone here had any experience of them and could tell me more about the technical gubbins that is way over my head? Cheers. steve
I had the fretless version of the four string for a while. They're really nice basses, and quite underated, so consider buying secondhand (you might get a good deal). They're active, with a good, functional preamp (mine was a fishman pre IIRC) and I think Bartolini soapbar pickups. erm, what else do you need to know?
