As some of you may know I have just moved house and have some how convinced the other half to let me have a bass room.

I only moved in yesterday so it is in a bit of a state but I thought I should post a few pics as a starter.

Excellent - you have a very understanding partner!

Every room in my house - bar one - is a bass room (a situation that is remarked upon frequently by my partner...but she doesn't mind - wow!)

It's in the bath at the moment, I found an action man in it

I'm practicing with the mouth piece only ATM.

I was wondering about that. what kind of scale is it 22"? can't see you getting a nice fat tone from that! :D .

Anyway, nice one. Everyone should have a dedicated space where you don't have to tidy away so you can so less important stuff like eating, watching TV, sleeping etc.

(To be fair though, i'd describe it as more of a 'bass cupboard' than room, but it's your cupboard, and that's the main thing ;) )

Edit: You learning the bone then wayne? cool. I just hope we don't loose you to the British Trombone Society forum. (Saying that, there's no chance coz it's dull, dull, dull over there )

One tip though, practice with the whole instrument. Without the rest of it you don't get the back-pressure and resonance. It's like playing bass unplugged. No, it's more like practicing on the fretboard without strings. Good luck with it.
ashdown + yamaha = *approves*

loving that black and yellow fretless though, think that wins on looks for me.
Cheers, that's the only bass I painted myself (so far)

The Ashdown sounds good but it's a bit loud so I may unplug one of the cabs so I can drive the amp a little more without pissing off the neighbours.

I like the stickered up bass. Reminds me of my old Dean bass. al la offspring stickers!

You can't go wrong with punk bands and skateboarding stickers :)

Once I get the spare roomdecorated, I'll have a bass room as well.

Currently every room is a bass room. Im sat in the living room and can see a big box of bass spares to my right and my Trace TVT9 guitar combo to my left that i use to practice new tunes
