Disappointing songs

I'vbe been hearing the hook for this song everywhere.  When I finally heard the song I just can't get on with it and the band seems to be named after failing to get to the bog in time..

Yes.  BBC have been using it on a BBC sounds ad, and it was on football focus.  Is it a sample?

As far as I know it’s an original part of the song.

But I can see how it would get used in TV etc.

I know the song well, being a 6music listener! 

I think the whole thing is very good. 

Because I mainly hear it 'in order', to me it seems like the song is already good, and then that riff comes in a raises it even  more.

 

(disclaimer: but I do like that kind of 'spoken word' delivery)

That's a cracking song ....I must re-tune to 6 Radio from Planet Rock...

 

I'm getting stuck in that "listening over and over again to your favourite oldies" thing and missing some good stuff.

 

Last time I listened in I discovered  Lets Eat Grandma and Wolf Alice...I wonder why I stopped...weird!

If you had never heard the song before, and then see it in a thread called disappointing songs, how can you find it disapointing, as your expectations should be pretty low to start with!

I approached it positively.... and was willing to be contrary and find it excellent. Instead I found myself concurring with the thread title...

I came here to post this. I remember buying the 12" Stiltskin single and playing the vocal version. What a massive let down that was.
