Pickup replacement ideas

I have a Yamaha BB 5000 bass I picked up but it needs pickups. The question I have is, will the pickups from a BB 425 be a good replacement? They are both passive, the same P J configuration and of course both 5 string basses. I want to keep the original look as much as possible. Any ideas out here?
