And I aint tried a Cali 5 but I used to own a 4. Getting rid of it was the biggest mistake I ever made.

8 weeks isn't that bad really, although I have sympathy for how you feel. I waited 7 months for my Jazz, and a similar time for my G&L. If it's any consolation I think that the wait really adds to the anticipation, so when you finally get the guitar it seems like an even greater event!

Oh I know some of you guys have to wait months and all for your Seis, Shukers, ACGs and so on, but I am sadly the type of guy who really hates waiting. I know patience is a virtue and all that but it isn't one I have Also I cant wait to hear how it will sound through my new Trace! I have dropped Holger @ Sandberg an email to see if he can help me out in some way as compensation for the absolute horse s**t treatment I received from Synergy Distribution whilst being an endorsee

They actually have the Cali JM5 Supreme in blueburst in stock at Thomann, but I much prefer the look of the blank maple board to the rosewood and block inlay jobby.

And yes ash, blueburst is such a great colour. Blueburst stingray with maple is one of the sexiest things ever

gosh i even had a dream about this bass- but slightly different for some reason. Forturnatley thomann have very quick delivery times if it makes you feel any better.
