walshy Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 (edited) Here we have an original 1973 Fender Precison body in Candy Apple Red, heavy relic beauty coupled with a stunner of a Lakland J neck bought from @Quatschmacherof this very parish. The engine room consists of a Nate Mendel P bass loom and Lindy Fralin 10% overwound pick ups. Bridge is original to the bass. The original P was parted out by a guy in the states, shame as I would’ve bought it complete but was too late. I do have pictures of the original bass to confirm this. Sounds killer and strung with La Bella LTF. Weight 4kg and comes with a Fender moulded case. Shipping in U.K. included and test drives welcome. molan Posted March 26, 2022 Posted March 26, 2022 Looks fabulous. I’m another big Lakland neck fan. I have a full custom paint Lakland and the neck is one of my favourites. Unfortunately it’s too heavy for me to gig with (and has an East preamp which I hate!). It’s currently residing as a piece of ‘wall art’ because my wife likes the artwork so much 🤦♂️ 1 Quote
