Jean-Luc Pickguard Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Stuart Zender probably likes it as its his signature bass with a pricetag to match. But it's the fugliest thing I've seen since the Bongo*. http://www.basscentre.com/4-string-bass-gu...ature-bass.html * I don't like warwicks or rickenbackers, but I'm sure some people will think its the nicest looking thing since Kylie's bum and they're entitled that opinion even if it is wrong . Quote
thisnameistaken Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I think we had a thread on this before. It looks very metal, not something I'd expect to see Stuart Zender playing. Quote

xilddx Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 Hideously unbalanced looking and butt-ugly isn't it. Mind you, he was banging on about playing LP basses last year so maybe this thing will end up on ebay soon too with "played by Stuart Zender" in the description. Quote
acidbass Posted April 10, 2009 Posted April 10, 2009 I've moved the thread to Bass Guitars, as it's most certainly 'On Topic' Apologies to the OP if this wasn't your original intention. Danny Quote
Brave Sir Robin Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 that's not bad at all. Sort of an artsy Fortress (I get the Prince vibe as well). Cheesy inlays though. And the price tag, jeez... Quote

Weird bass either way, I think even the hardcore Zender fans are going to stick with the standard Streamer. I love the old Warwick designs but ever since the Dolphin came out I thought they were smoking too much. I wonder if that's why Thumbs and Streamers are so cheap now, because people looked at the modern models and threw up. Quote

funkypenguin Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 nice to see a warwick signature bass that isnt one of the many streamer models with a revamped paint job.......looks ok to me though i agree on the point about cheesy inlays. and as for the price.... Quote
Hamster Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 It's sort of ok, ish. Wouldn't mind a play to see if I liked it. Quote
