Maude
While on my occasional browse for an Aerodyne P this appeared. Aerodyne?? If I was after a quiet pickup'd, crazy actioned, t-shirt tearing neckplated, orange peely painted with a wonky hand drawn binding bass that weighed a ton, then I'd be all over this. Unfortunately I was after an Aerodyne P. At least the seller knows how to sell it. 1
Bassassin
That's quite eye-catching at first glance. Realistically, you can't help but have some (possibly misplaced) respect for that level of ambition in both the execution and the marketing of a £90 bass with a Dulux refin. Edit - what the actual f*ck is going on with that bridge??? Edited March 26, 2022 by Bassassin Incredulity! 1

That's exactly it, at first glance I thought ooh that's nice... then I clicked on it and looked at the pictures. With every picture it got worse... then I read the description, yep, it got even worse.

Once that decking screw has worn through your top and wedged into your flesh it should hold itself in place. 😬
Newfoundfreedom
Yup. I did the same. I thought, ooh that looks really nice, then the more I looked the more it just looked off. Kind of like a girl I once met in Bangkok

That might have something to do with the inch-high bridge saddles (and the pickup trying to escape from the body).
Bassassin
Boggles the mind how someone can attempt to assemble a Fender-style bitsa - possibly the one of the least challenging challenges in the history of challenges - and get absolutely everything quite so cataclysmically wrong. That in itself must be a unique talent.
gjones
The seller says the pickup is quiet. I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that the action is so incredibly high?
