It's not often someone covers Jeff Buckley, fair shout to young Grohl and the band. The guy playing the yellow jazz bass is pretty good, nice tone...oh hell, I mentioned tone.

Found on Twitter the order of appearance:

Supergrass, followed then by Them Crooked Vultures, The Pretenders, James Gang, Violet Grohl & Mark Ronson, Brian Johnson and Lars Ulrich, Stewart Copeland, Rush, Queen, and Foo Fighters (apparently scheduled to play from 8:10pm to 10:30pm!). Well, let's see 🙂

Supergrass playing everything about 15 bpm slower than when they were young lads 🤣

Nice to see the Blazer still in action, though. Total respect.

Sounds great

Years ago, I decided to never go to a concert which costs more than €50 to get into so, as a result, I miss all the large "event" gigs like this. It's interesting to see technology hasn't yet cured the latency between the performance and what shows up on the big screen. That discrepancy between audio and visual is still a thing. Interesting.

I wonder who's going to be first to use the ramp? my money is on Brian May, for We Will Rock You (speculation of course, I don't actually know anything)

The Pretenders are a bit of a revelation for me.

I'd only ever heard their Christmas single and Brass in Pocket and assumed they were a sort of middle of the road AOR band, but this is awesome.

Ah The Pretenders were fantastic, well worth checking out.

The young people call it "deep diving". Whatever. Give them a chance. Great songs. Great bass.

Their first album is sublime. Raw, great songs, great delivery. All the good things in one place.

These people have never heard the James Gang and are only applauding these pensioners because Dave Grohl told them to 🤣

I'd never heard of them, but they were fantastic (did you notice his trousers started falling apart? 😄)
