Delberthot
That's quite possibly the most hideous bass I've ever seen.
rushbo
If you show a six year old a picture of a P bass for ten seconds, then give them a crayon and ask them to draw what they have seen from memory, you'd get a design like this. I'm sure someone loves this, but that someone ain't me.

Clarky
I also suspect the hands of Vinnie Fodera never went near any of that bass. If Fodera saw that on eBay I bet they would demand it be taken down, if only as its damaging to the brand
wateroftyne
I believe that's one of Finnie Vodera's best creations.
Clarky
I remain dumbfounded by the thumb rest below the strings. The prior owner must have had a very particular and unusual style of playing. Or never played the low B string

Either way, it needs burning.

Jean-Luc Pickguard
Didn't this bass feature on the cover of Gentle Giant's 1971 album acquiring the taste? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acquiring_the_Taste#/media/File:Acquiring_the_Taste_front_cover.jpg

tauzero
Surely it's the Fodera Stevie Wonder?
fleabag
Lordy knows what that abomination is but Jones played a Fodera Monarch, not that monstrosity. Even so, he wasnt really known for Foderas, just Wals and Ibanezezzzezezzs. He briefly played a Gretsch which he filed some of the frets down to make a half fretless. Used on one one track, Running on 3, on the first album. He then switched to a fretless Precision for a while before the Wal and then Ibanez
