New pics in natural light down the thread

Background info: After the demise of my band and covid, I am no longer playing 5 strings and had 3 of them sitting around so I thought I would trade them in and get my "ultimate bass", which is this one. In my humble opinion it plays great as it sounds and is extremely versatile and it looks great under the lights. It is also lightweight at around 3.7kg😁

I'm now playing 4's more so don't need this and with new prices are heading towards 3K I want to free up tied up in this one.

Just putting it out there to see if there is any interest.

One careful owner, not even run in.

It is as new with case and candy as hasn't left the house. Any trial welcome

Pics are of the bass while at PMT.

Trades: An FGN 4 with EMG's, a G&L1000. Try mw with something cheaper with a wad of cash my way.

Manufactured January 27th, 2020

Beautiful bass. What is "select hardwoods" for the body? That is not very precise no? o.O At 3,7 kgs that is very light for a 5 string.

EBMM don't state the wood type anymore. That started when the extra light ash they were using for the Stingray Specials began to run out due to a wood infestation in the USA. Since then it's been "select hardwoods" on the description of the standard models.

String spacing on the ray5 is 17.5mm at the bridge.
