This was a rather rare Gibson guitar, made for only one year, that came with a gloss finish and fully bound neck. It comes with it's original case and a spare pickguard too. I don't know much about it to be honest other than it plays really well and all works as it should. It was gigged by the previous owner but is in pretty good nick. It has some marks on the front and back but that is to be expected as they were designed to wear apparently.

 

It has a baked maple fretboard and 60s slim taper neck with Kluson Deluxe tuners. Frets are in good condition. The thin nitro finish means it won't choke your tone and wears quickly for that worn look.

The 490R and 498T humbuckers combined with the all mahogany body and neck are cause for some serious sustain and tone.

This sounds like one of the rare Signature STR 1 Lawsuit guitar's from Japan. Manufactured by Tanglewood..... Its a long story!

Naah it is one of these but it's a black one. HH and with a bound neck. 

A great gigging Gibson by all accounts.
