Rehearsal room central London

Hello all,

 

We've recently been told our studio in Waterloo is closing down and are looking for a replacement. Does anyone know of somewhere central? Given the choice, we would go for somewhere more intimate than a Pirate studios-type place and it definitely doesn't have to be furnished with the latest that technology has to offer.

I used to use Storm Rehearsal Studios on the Holloway Road (Google will find them). About 5 miles north of Charing Cross, so not completely central. Reasonably priced, not bad gear and parking on site, which saves a lot of grief.

It’s not central London, but I have been here a few times. It’s pretty good, if a little expensive - though I guess that’s relative, I’m used to Birmingham prices.

There was a place in central London that I used a couple of times too. I can’t remember the name now though, and certainly wouldn’t recommend it.

As impersonal as Pirate are, I quite like them just because they're not that pricey for a central London location and are always clean with decent gear. 

 

Dalston Studio is a nice little space, although not so central. It's only one room though so booking can be a pain sometimes.
