Rare occasion I overdid the wine last night…

used to be every week. Always came with hilarious consequences.

Spotted this on Facebook marketplace earlier in the day…”damn that’s nice…must behave”

Anyhow: apparently at 2am this morning, just before going to bed…

I bought a bass…

Could've been worse. Damn PayPal interest free.

Your not the only one, feel no guilt, as I said earlier I once bought an Austin Healey under the influence of drink off eBay. Shock of my life in the morning when the offer was accepted… I did have one hell of a summer out if it though, top down, warm hazy days and English country roads 😂🤣

Do you sell stuff cheap under the influence of beer?

Nice … and just for once I understand your choices @AndyTravis but the plate looks a bit weird on low E  around fret 18? Shouldn’t double back on itself ?

No. Luckily there’s a buffer of a couple of days for it to arrive under radar 🥴

What I meant was that the plate on yours appears a bit closer to the edges of the body than these below; is that normal or is it just an aftermarket plate or maybe the photo angle ?

It’s cos that’s a Squier affinity which has them further back cos increased tolerances is cheaper to make

this would be a better comparison

It’s single ply aluminium on “50’s” ones @Geek99 - without the bevelled edges they do give a little variation on the appearance.

But yeah - I now see what you mean.

And thank you - I knew you’d “get it” one day - if only for a fleeting moment.

😉
