Protective tape

Hi all,

 

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of some clear, protective tape that won't leave a residue or damage the finish on my MTD? I've noticed that when slapping, I'm striking the satin finish, probably won't be too long before that gets marked up, so wanting to protect it!

Just off the cuff, would bike frame protection patches do the job?

If you think they would then let me know what size patch you are looking for and I'll see what I have😁

On a few of my basses I've used laptop screen protectors, cut to shape and not had any ill effects to the finish (they were all high gloss finishes not satin though). Also use them on the rear to stop buckle rash 😁🎸

Clear film that is also satin finished or you will have a fashion fubar with glossy patches of tape.

 

Alternatively you could use some easy off sign vinyl from your local sign shop in a complimentary shade.
