fleabag
Weirdly, in the '78 photo you look like a bloke and yet in the '82 photo you look like a schoolboy. Thats a great trick for staying young Ps love that classic Overwater. I've had 2 of those - a single pup and a twin pup.
Leonard Smalls
At Tramlines Festival in Sheffield with my 1st band (Dredd and the Badass Weeds) - formed in 1983. This was more like 2014 though, complete with dancer Sister Bez and Parker PB51 bass. There's a a clip of this gig on YouTube... It was during our ecclesiastical phase!

gafbass02
Early 90s with ‘Scream’ and early/mid 00s with Double Cross. Good times. Still got the jazz bass and bassmaster funk. (Albeit in need of repair!)

NHM
Do cartoons count? My first pic when I was in 'The Freak Bros', from a review in the Exeter 'Flying Post' following a gig in town in 1978, that's me next to the congas (good likeness too!). For the geeks, that's an Eros jazz copy.
knirirr
Old band photos are in short supply, but here are a couple from some time probably around 1993 (can't remember exactly) which I had previously posted on Guitarchat. It wasn't long after these were taken that I realised I was playing the wrong instrument.
mep
Dug a few more out. These first lot are from the early 90's when I lived in Hong Kong and was involved in quite a few bands. Great fun and memories. Apologies for the mullet content! The last 2 are from the mid 90's when I came back to the UK. Cat Burrito
Great thread! Onstage at The Marquee in the early 90s. That Jazz was also used on a Total Guitar session that was included in Issue 10. Same band maxing out our "leaning against a wall skills" (second left) The Ex-Boyfriends backstage at Caeser's Palace in Luton - I've discovered the early Manic Street Preachers! (second left again) Insert from a German punk CD released in the 90s.

mep
Another one from me. In 2005 I returned to Hong Kong for a holiday and met up with some old muso buddies in my old haunt The Wanch in Wan Chai for some jamming.

dmccombe7
Torquemada 1981 probably my first proper gig with a decent rock / prog covers band. Using an Aria SB1000 Gypsies Kiss circa 1986 doing original rock with a few covers of ZZ Top, AC/DC and Free. Using my Fender 80's Jazz Georges Kitchen circa 1988 doing originals with a few covers. Quite a varied style including this image of us doing Pink Floyd Time. I remember that cause i triggered the smoke machine for the beginning. Drummer had a Simmonds electronic kit altho you cant see it in this pic and guitarist had the Roland guitar synth. Great fun band. I'm using my Yamaha BX-1 bass. Another George's Kitchen circa 88 just to show the drummer existed LOL Stormbringer 2012 a tribute to Deep Purple & friends doing DP songs plus any band that had a link to DP like Rainbow, Sabbath (i know but Dio sang with Rainbow who had a link to DP.......😂)
