Better than "Caerfilthy" which a lot of people use.

Interesting fact that Caerphilly Castle, the biggest in Wales, was built to keep the Welsh out.

Sadly Caerdydd is further from me than many, many English Bass Bashes.

Travelling North-South in Wales is just incredibly slow. Mountains and rugged landscape do not make for fast roads, unfortunately.

Except that bit between Rhyader and Aberystwyth, but that runs East- West and all the cops hang out there too.

So do I. Curiously Google sent me this way today, usually it wants me to go over the Bridge Whose Name Shall Not Be Spoken.

I’m in Pennard first week of June, just subbing in case anything is arranged!

Pennard - nice! I once slept on the cliffs there when I was a student. Seemed a good idea at the time honestly officer...

As someone that lives in the Border Marches - the Welsh border is one mile away -  there is as someone has already noted a big challenge travelling north/south in Wales, or Wales adjacent counties, due to the lack of a fast road/train route.

Perhaps if it was Bash Bas De Gymru, it would overcome objections from those in the north and marches?

The question really is who is somewhere betwen Carmarthen and Bristol wo would be intersted in something happening in the middle?

The Midlands BB, if it happens, is likely to be near Redditch so those in the marches have that.

One thought is that an event in Cardiff could possibly happen in a club with a stage allowing us to have some informal jamming and maybe even a bar and a gig afterwards for those who want it.
