I'd be interested only if it's South Wales which it looks like it will be so all good!

For what it's worth, I did a very casual job of organising what can barely be called a bass bash outside Bristol several years ago and we found it quite easy to find a Markbass representative to bring down their newly released backline items.

 

Might be worth reaching out to several high end companies to see if they want to bring some goodies down!

Sorry for lack of progress! I know who to speak to now,  plus have met some bc folk at the EH.

 

Need to find out a hire cost, and will need to fit around an existing event. Alternatively might be possible to combine with some BC  putting on a jam night o gig for free in the evening.  Or something like that.

Dunno about anyone else but Sunday usually works best for me... Saturdays are a bit more difficult as there are always Things 'We' Need To Do apparently.

Sunday is good for me. I usually stay in a hotel the evening before and Friday evenings are the most expensive.

Depending when it is in the year, any day except Friday or Saturday is my preference as those are the two days that gigs land on most frequently but I appreciate that is the opposite to people with a traditional 9-5!
