dangerboy
This is a tough one to describe. This is a BOSS DS-1 distortion which has been modified to make it into a crazy distorted tremolo, with a speed dependent on signal strength. All of which means that if you hold a nice loud note, the tremolo will kick in at a high speed, then slow down as the note gets quieter. I've put an mp3 here so that you can see what I mean (some nice ponderous playing on my modded Thunderbird): http://www.dangerboy.plus.com/ds1.mp3 Really useful for noise-lovers, or for big finishes to loud songs. It has a few scratches on, including the previous owner's favourite settings. Still looks good, though. £30 inc P&P to the UK? badgerific
Sounds pretty cool, is the tremolo switchable on/off or is it always on when the pedals turned on?
dangerboy
It's on all the time. I didn't see a need for a stock DS-1 on my board!

dangerboy
Yep. She posted instructions on her site so I tried it out on a couple of ds-1s. One for me, one for my ex-guitarist, and this one.
