Trickfish Bullhead Mini 500

Very excited by this! Slightly smaller than a Markbass head, but Trickfish voicing (Mike Pope heritage I believe), and just all around nice bunch of people!

Wow the gain goes to 30.  However I cannot see its appeal as it will be probably £800 plus for a basic amplifier in a crowded market.

Each to their own, but you say "basic", I say "well thought-out and minus all the guff you see on many amps nowadays".

Quilter Bass B|lock 800 seems to fit that brief at a lower price.

Perhaps, although it looks like the 802 is most similar, only found 1 place in the UK that has them at £699, so I guess we'll see what price the Mini 500 arrives on these shores at.

I do much prefer the look of the Trickfish, but not heard the Quilter, I'm sure it's great.
