Source Audio Atlas Compressor

Bit of a thread revival but just wanted to post about this pedal having spent the last few days mucking about with one.

Its an amazing piece of kit. The bass presets are excellent, all very useful, and sound great for a whole range of different applications. So even if you don't want to deep dive into the nuts and bolts using the neuro app, there's plenty to go at.

I got one specifically for the dual band feature, which is also superb and very customisable. Does exactly what I want with the minimum of fuss.

The app is great. Works well for me on both laptop and tablet. If you're going to use it you'll need a basic understanding of how compression works. That said, it's quite a good learning tool - you can see and hear what each setting does.

Yes it's not very easy to make substantive changes to all features on the fly, so you'll want your presets dialled in before a gig, but as far as functionality and quality goes, I've not seen so much packed into a single compressor pedal before.

Kudos to source audio for taking their own path with their products. This and the eq2 are two of my favourite pedals.
