I think I should be OK for this one, touch wood. But what to bring?

 

I see that no-one so far has mentioned double bass - I can bring one if people would like to give one a try?  @Happy Jackwere you thinking of bringing metal mickey?

 

Other than that, usual suspects: Duesenberg, BBNE2, Bass Collections, what is interesting to people?

Happy to be told I'm wrong but, based on previous experience, one DB is enough at a BassBash. It's a bit like taking a functions band to a punk gig. 😉

This looks fantastic (Thanks @Silvia Bluejayfor sharing details of previous events) ... and the stars have aligned ... I'm not scheduled to work that day and it's only an hours drive!

 

It would be downright rude of me not to attend (And I am not rude)

I’ve received clearance from Mrs C , so just need to avoid  a Church call up for the Sunday evening ( and even then may be able to attend some of the day). I'll bring my 3 basses and pedal board. Do I need to bring an amp , or do we plug into whatever others have brought ( mine is a keyboard amp so a flat sound and probably not too interesting for you)? I'm a newbie, so am  looking forward to meeting you all.

Doesn’t hurt to bring an amp, but not essential. There’ll be an amp nearby, but if you set up an amp and basses in the big hall then there’s something to try stuff through

Looks like I am committed now! 

 

You will see, when I arrive with my kit, that my purchasing strategy involves deciding what I want, setting up an eBay saved search, and waiting a year....

 

I see that @Mudpupis attending.  I have corresponded with him, but I have not met him.
